About this Forum
Jan 11th, 2008 at 9:16pm

Everyone can read all the messages on this forum except for one section, a member section. This does not mean membership of the Pilgrims, merely a member of this forum, there's a distinction.
If you want to call yourself a Pilgrim, simply turn up to a meet and your there  Smiley

The member section is basically a chatter section where you can chat about anything pretty much. If you know scooters and scootering then you know what scooterists can be like in their views, don't expect angels!

Hence the member section which you have to register for to see. The rest of the forum is open for anyone to read, but again if you want to reply or participate in the discussions, you'll have to register. A bonus of registering is that you will also receive regular emails giving you notice to events, meets and the monthly newsletter.

One tip: If you've registered and you see discussions that are a bit "raw" for your sense of humour, there are two things you can do about this.

1. Don't read it. Honestly, don't. Everyone has different senses of humour, accept it and the fact that everyone is different.

2. The updated forum now has a way to alert me, the moderator, by pressing the ... "Alert Moderator" button which you'll see on the upper right in every post.

When using number 2 however, it'll be up to me to decide what to do about it, so my decisions final I'm afraid.

If you have any queries about the use of the forum you will see a help button on the menu near the top of each page or you can post a query in the Frequently Asked Question Thread.

Note now that you cannot reply to this thread as it is for information only and is locked.

PLEASE NOTE THIS ADDITION

Due to a variety of factors, including the amount of eejit spammers there will be a new policy of deletion.

By that I mean that any members that have not logged into the forum within 90 days will automatically be deleted.

I do realise that there are a minority of members that may register purely to be notified of the newsletter, however to be fair, if people are interested enough in the club and goings on then they'd be logging in.

I have sent this to all on the email list as of today.
