BEDFORDSHIRE SCOOTERISTS
PROGRAMME UPDATE

Well all, it's been a while since we have had a newsletter and with no one else stepping forward and me being slightly tipsy at the time of writing I thought, "what the hell!".

So for this newsletter, your host is Donegal Paul and he would like to start by saying a HUGE thank you to Wendy who has always done the newsletters previously. I know that the business, Innocenti's, has taken up a heck of a lot of time, both for her and for Tom and we wish them luck. They're braver than me for sure! Visit the website at www.innocentis.co.uk

Moving on, it's been a busy couple of months with new meets springing up all over. There's the Watling Street meet, every 3rd Thursday which had about 70+ scooters at the last meet! Of course the Henlow meet continues and there's a meet at Elstow too on the first Thursday too which is hosted by a scootering landlord!!

So, what's been happening?
Well, we have had presences at the Blues & Gold Scooter Club Rally, Sticky Rock, Modstock and quite a few at the Great London Ride Out too! Sorry to hear that you didn't make it Rachel due to technical difficulties and the same for Pilgrim Dave and Boxer who missed the crowd by only 10 minutes!

If anyone wants their scooter in the next newsletter then either catch Donegal Paul when he has remembered to bring his camera or email him at donegalpaul@thepilgrimssc.co.uk

New Club T - Shirts
There are plans to have some new club shirts this year with the logo on the front and the words The Pilgrims SC or similar across the back so please look out for details on the website www.thepilgrimssc.co.uk and in the next newsletter at the end of June.

On the subject of club items, Mark Woodyatt (PX200 with the music blaring out of his glovebox at every opportunity) has got some leggy banners made up. They are a plain blue background with The Pilgrims SC Bedfordshire Scooterists in white on them though there may be an option of the club logo on it too. They are only a fiver and if you want one, please talk to Mark at Henlow, at the Piazza or email him on mark@woodyatt7639.freeserve.co.uk

Special Event
Now I'm sure that there was something else important to put on here.....now what was it?
Oh Yes, a certain Mark and Lisa are getting hitched on the 26th June 2004!!! and we're all invited, well technically. The ceremony's a family type affair but as many scooterists as possible are wanted to ride to the ceremony with the groom on his scooter! So, if you want to go, you need to meet up with everyone else at the Holiday Inn to leave there at exactly 3pm to be at the Swiss Gardens at 3.30pm and there will be photo's afterwards so bring your sunglasses for some cool poses!
