November 2006
Hemsby
- Winter Warmer 2006
Absofeckinlutely brilliant weekend. If you didn't go, you missed a reet good 'un! Write up will be on the website soon, but the weekend consisted of a great ride there, with one scooter seizing. Those bleeding 2 year old Vespas eh?
The Friday night entertainment included The Emperials followed by Ian Paige and The Affair, though Donegal Paul was sure it was Ian Paisley Saturday was spent looking round a slightly smaller parts fair than last years, some went into town, others to Yarmouth and a few stood for all of 7 hours watching Battle of the Bands! Saturday night was Grasp! followed by The Gift, and it has to be said they were very good, that floor was packed!!! Sunday morning and the ride home came all too soon. Great weekend, great mates, great music, great beer!!
Monthly
Ride
After last months Diamond Hunt (read the website!) we are hoping to have a little more success with the next one which is this Sunday coming, ie 12th November. We aren't going far due to uncertainty of weather, just to Flitwick to The Crown. Some may have been to a few do's there over the years, apparantly Boxer has a relative there behind the bar. I'm unsure if that's good or bad though
Decembers Monthly Ride was going to be Peanut Duck Parts Fair however, it will now be Sunday 15th December leaving the square at 1200 sharp. Venue however is yet to be confirmed but it may be a pub in Haynes.
Remember too, double points for all Pilgrims Monthly rides
NHS Collective End of Season Do
As you will know by now, The Pilgrims are going to have a Pre-Season Do the first weekend of March but the NHSC are organising an end of season do for the 2nd December at The Highwayman. This is a free event but is strictly tickets only as this will allow them to keep track of how many are going for refreshments purposes. Sounds like it'll be a hell of a night with a live band as well as DJs!!

The Pilgrims Pre Season Do
Ok, a bit early but you can never really be too early can you?
Anyway, keep an eye out for Big Rob of the unwilling pancreas, as I hear that there are 2 new Pilgrims CD's up for grabs. Of course we are not actually selling the CD's nor are we selling tickets to the pre season do. What we are doing is asking for a donation of £5 It's not a suggested donation either!
The
Pilgrims League Table
Still neck and neck for the top spot!!! See online for updates.
Keeping
in Touch
Remember the club has a website at www.thepilgrimssc.co.uk where members
can keep in touch with what's happening and even make suggestions on
where to go and what to do. Failing that, you can just talk a load of bollox
