Monthly Ride
After last months successful rideout to The Wilbury in Letchworth, this month it's the turn of Higham Ferrers near Rushden to meet the Diamonds Scooter Club. Kick off will be the Piazza in Bedford on Sunday 15th October at 9.45am to get there for 10.30am. The NLVSC are also going to meet us there. I'm not sure if there is then a rideout organised by the Diamonds, but we can play it by ear when we get there

As for Novembers monthly rideout, any suggestions welcome for a venue, also, it will be either Sunday 12th or 19th but will be confirmed nearer the time.

Kettering Parts Fair - Sunday 1st October
Considering the weather it was a great turnout for the ride to Kettering on Sunday, with 20 plus scooters meeting on the Piazza for the kick off. Nice to see some of the feckers, Luton boys and the North Herts lads and lasses all joining in too.
It was a good run until everyone got confused as to whether or not to turn into Rushden to meet the Diamonds SC at Higham Ferrers or not, but we got there in the end. Once we met up with the Diamonds we went onwards en masse to the parts fair, arranging to leave about 1pm to head back for a couple of drinks in Higham. The parts fair was well packed but there didn't seem to be as many bargains as there have been in the past, though there was certainly enough in the way of downpours!!

Hemsby - Winter Warmer 2006
Right, who's going? eh? eh? eh? It's only a few weeks off now and while there is entertainment on the Thursday night for the early birds, most will be leaving sometime during the Friday to get there. I've not heard anything official, but have heard of people talking about leaving for Hemsby about 10 to 11am. Keep your ears open at the meets and watch the website for more details of who's doing what as its better craic to ride with a few others rather than solo.

North Herts Scooter Collective
The NHS Collective are planning a Christmas do at The Highwayman pub at Gravely for either the 2nd or 3rd December, I've forgotten which. Watch the website and next months newsletter for more details. There's talk of a band plus DJ, food, and of course all the beer you can buy!

The Pilgrims League Table
A new twist in the proceedings, it seems Pete's in the lead, Donegal is in second and Quincy's dropped two places to third!!
