January 2007
Sean Henderson
North Herts Scooter Collective & formerly Edinburgh Blues SC
Tragically killed Wednesday 3rd January doing something he loved, riding his scooter.
Originally from Edinburgh, where he was a member of the Edinburgh Blues SC, Sean moved to Stevenage and was a well known face within the local scene, he also made great bacon butties at Costello's Cafe where he worked.
Thoughts and wishes are with his family at this time. Sean leaves a partner and 4 young children.

Monthly
Ride
January's rideout is Sunday 14th which is this Sunday and will be to The Horseshoes at Blunham, a fairly central location for those that are Bedford, Sandy, Stevenage based and not so far that even the fair weather riders won't be put off. Mind you, we had a good little New Year's Eve run out to The Greyhound and no one managed to get lost this time.
February's rideout will be Sunday 11th and will be to St. Neots market square which apparantly has a coffee shop and pub on it. There are a few hibernating scooterists that way so hopefully they'll be up for coming out to play .
| The
Pilgrims League Table 2007
A reminder. The new points championship has started, the first opportunity to earn points being the rideout already mentioned above. As a bonus, anyone displaying a Pilgrims Banner will get an extra point, however, this won't count until February 11th to give people opportunity to get them. It's only fair.
Email Donegal Paul if you want to take part.
The Pilgrims Pre Season Do
The 3rd of March is getting very close so if you don't have tickets / CD's already you need to start thinking about getting them in the next 4 weeks before they run short. Remember that Sandy Scooters have them in stock, failing that, see Big Rob when he comes back from Boston.
The Year Ahead
There's been some discussion about the year ahead for the club but remember that everything is reliant on suggestions and input from the members as we don't have a committee or subs. We're not asking for any form of committment you're not willing to give so don't worry. Simply if you have ideas, thoughts or suggestions then make sure they get heard, either through the clubs online forum or at meetings, they're regular enough . There are ideas for at least 2 runs a month during the Summer months as well as an overnighter somewhere if anyone's up for it.
Keeping
in Touch
Remember the club has a website at www.thepilgrimssc.co.uk where you
can keep in touch with what's happening and even make suggestions on
where to go and what to do. Failing that, you can just talk a load of bollox.
