Monthly Ride
Novembers run was a wet Sunday but a good Sunday as we went to Letchworth to the Hog's Head to see Old Pete who's looking well and he's planning to make '09 a better scootering year than '08!

December's run though is to The Greyhound at Haynes which is a nice central location for those that want to scoot or drive there. The Greyhound Run has become a bit of a Pilgrim tradition this time of year and is just a nice Christmas celebration of sorts. For those that want to ride over with the Pilgrims from the Piazza in Bedford we'll be leaving at midday Sunday 21st December.

The Pilgrims Christmas Do
The Christmas Stomp! Yes a night of Ska, Reggae, 2 Tone and Northern at The Pad, Bedford and only a fiver on the door. Remember it's Sunday 28th December 9pm - 2.30am!

Peanut Duck
Considering it looked like it was going to be quite frosty it looks like we got away lucky weather wise. Mind you, there was snow on the same time last year!
Anyway, quite a turn out and a great run there even though we ended up splitting and going 3 different ways for some reason!

Waited ages for a cuppa in the queue and went inside, a good range of dealers present but numbers definitely felt down on previous times which is a shame as Claire puts a hell of a lot of effort into these do's.
Some fantastic scooters in the custom show too on the day, I think a few were even ridden believe it or not!

League Table
Oh yes I have. As in I have kept up with the points so the winner will be known for the January Henlow, thanks for bearing with me chaps, I promise to do a better job next year.

Speaking of Next Year.....

The Pilgrims Tour 2009
I'm sure that many of us will be doing several of the usual rallies in 2009 however, there are a few that stand out that some members want to specifically do as they aren't the usual ones that we've done over the years.

The first and main one that springs to mind is Kelso 2009. This will mean meeting up about 4pm on the A1 on May 21st '09 and not being home until the Bank Holiday Monday. Probably via Skegness if this is actually happening next year as there are rumours it isn't. I'm checking on this.

Also, there's the Scooterboy World Party in early February! This is a great one nighter with many getting local b&b's or travelodge accomodation or camping, several of us hardy pilgrims did do last year. If you're expecting the usual rally music however, this is not for you or the weak willed.

Others include Bridlington, Mersea and local ones such as Roade 3.

For now though, and on behalf of the Pilgrims, may I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
