Monthly Ride
Last Month's Ride was the Inter-County Rideout to Henlow from Bedford, not a massive ride for many of us from the area but it was great to host it as the Pilgrims. And what a turnout! I counted 82 scooters on the Piazza and there was another 6 to 10 at Henlow when we arrived! A big thanks to all the clubs that turned out including the Tin Soldiers SC, Doughboys SC, Rose of the Shires, NLVSC, Northampton Chatters, Hooters SC, NHSC, Luton Lambretta Club, Red Kites SC, Ayelsbury SC and others including many solo riders.

This months Inter-County is the Easter Egg run hosted by the Tin Soldiers and is this Saturday. Make sure you're at at the Sandwich Bar - Oliver Road, Bletchley for 10.30am for a leaving time of 11am!!

St. Neot's Invasion - This Sunday!!
That's right, this Sunday a short notice rideout for Easter Sunday where we will be leaving the Piazza at 11am to nip over to St. Neot's and see if any of the Hooters are about. I'm pretty sure that the Piazza coffee bar in Bedford will be closed so let's get to St.Neot's for the day.

The Pilgrims Do Kelso '09
Right, rooms are now booked on the upward trip to Kelso for all those that came up with the deposit, we just need to sort the rooms for the way down now.
The plan is to head oop norf at 4pm Thursday from the Black Cat Roundabout, get to Pontefract and stay in the travelodge. Then onwards and upwards to Kelso on the Friday.
There's a possible run to Edinburgh on the Saturday, then Sunday head dawn sawrf to a travelodge in Harrogate and Monday the last leg home.

Peanut Duck
Sunday gone saw the Pilgrims go to Peanut Duck in Milton Keynes to support one of our most local Parts Fairs. Another good turnout and good craic had by all on the way there and back including a little bit of racing up front between The Flash, Aaron and Mr. Chips :-) Apologies about the route there though, I hadn't realised the roadworks were so extensive and long.

Ace Cafe Run.
Great craic! Yep, about 10 of us left on the Sunday morning and picked up a couple of strays in Luton and we cracked on down to the Ace. There was a great variety of scooters there when we got there, we didn't bother with the rideout from the London Eye to be honest, we just wanted to meet people at the Ace.

While it was great craic, I certainly don't think I'll be doing it again though as there were just too many idiots in their cars on the North Circular that nearly took a few of us out, so if it clashes next year with Coventry? well, lets just say, I'll be heading north!

League Table
It would appear that at the time of going to press that ScooterBoy Steve is heading up the pack!
