Monthly Ride
Well July's monthly ride was to our hosts at the Five Bells for the annual BBQ where the weather, women, music and beer were all fine. With so much going on in the summer (when it's not raining) it's difficult to get a big turnout as you tend to end up sharing with other events, however, it was great to see such a good turnout and a special thanks to Bill for the DJing.

There's no specific run planned for August as so many are on their hols or again, there's so much going on. Anyway, most will be doing the IOW.

Inter-County Ride July - Sunday the 19th July
Again another great day out supporting the local clubs, we may not have a Yorkshire Alliance standing, but we certainly do have a good group within all the clubs involved.

Strangetown SC Weekender
Bad news at this where some of the local scrotes nicked 4 scooters!! Good news is that the owners got them back with varying degrees of (repairable) damage. 'Twas a good weekend other than that though I'm assured. Definitly has to be on next years list of to do's.

Tin Soldiers SC Weekender
Again, another recent weekender which looks like it'll become a yearly event from the feedback I've heard. Fair play to the Tinnies!

Don't Forget....

Isle of Wight - Silly O'Clock
For those that want to leave at Silly O'Clock, or 4am in normal terms, there will be a hardy contingent of Pilgrims leaving the Piazza and going M1 - M25 - A3 on the Friday morning.

Isle of Wight - Pimm's O'Clock
If you want to go at a reasonable hour then the Hooters and others will be leaving at approximately 8am Friday and travelling down the A1 - M25 - A3. Granted there's a little more traffic at this time but you're not knackered by 10pm on the Island either. Please confirm all details with Craig.

So, what's occuring?

We've already mentioned the IOW, but don't forget that the following weekend (4th - 6th September) is Mersea Island!! One of the best weekends of the year, in fact, I'd say it's the Kelso for those that can't be bothered to ride to Scotland!

So, the usual is to meet on Friday at Baldock Services at 10 to 10.30am then crack on to Mersea Island.

Bedford Italian Festival

Well there is going to be a festival on Sunday 13th September from 11 to 4 in Bedford including the Piazza where we meet! So, there's going to be Italian food, cars etc etc so let's see how many scooters we can get there!!!
