Monthly Ride
Last month's monthly ride was the ride to the Cambridge Scooters Club's St. George's Day event and what a day. About 20 of us left the Piazza and met the Hooters SC at St. Neot's just off the A1 and then cracked on to Cambridge. All went well until we got to Cambridge itself and then Gee's exhaust fell off. Course we stopped but then realised everyone that knew exactly where we were going had cracked on. Hmmm, that meant we were stuck riding round Cambridge city for about 30 minutes until one of the CSC lot found us.
Once we got there however it was a great day with a complete turnout of about 220 scooters!

This month's though is this Sunday to Banbury in Oxfordshire and we are leaving the Piazza (fuelled up!) at 9am to go to the Super Sausage on the A5 for a fry up where we'll meet the Northampton lot. Then we'll crack on to Banbury and meet up with the Banbury SC for a cracker of a day.

St. Neot's Invasion - Easter Sunday
Still in the spirit of even a short rideout on a Sunday the Pilgrims invaded the St.Neots Square on Easter Sunday. Despite it being a bit short notice there were still about 20 - 25 of us on the day and it's just nice to get out on a bank holiday weekend. Thanks too to the 4 lads that came all the way over from Kettering / Northants!

The Pilgrims Do Kelso '09
Next Thursday our intrepid explorers are going where plenty of men have gone before, yes Kelso, so if you want to come along then you'll need to be at the Black Cat Roundabout at 4pm fuelled up to head for our first stop of the trip, Pontefract! Yes indeed, a night in the glorious tourist resort near Doncaster. Then the next day it's off to Kelso and arrive at the rally. We'll be leaving on the Sunday to head back again arriving home Monday.
Don't forget you lot that have already paid your £20 still owe Donnie the balance! So pay him!!

All Dayer in London - the Kelso Alternative.
If anyone's at a loose end and not doing the Kelso national then an alternative all dayer is taking place in London.
Hosted by Bar Italia SC and The New Untouchables the event is called the Buckingham Palace Scooter Run.
Meeting initialy at Carnaby St for noon, riding to Buckingham Palace, Marble Arch, Tottenham Court Rd and up into Camden, where there is a Free music event with Bands at Bar Undersolo just off Camden High St (apparently parking of street as well) .
If the suns out it will be a good-un. Thinking about going straight to Buckingham palace as the parking in Soho is shit!
