Land's End to John O'Groats
A
huge congratulations to both Fred and Donegal Paul for completing their
Land's End to John O'Groats run during one of the wettest May's for years!!
Both made it there and back with very little problem. Remember that Fred
did his for charity and I'm sure he would appreciate people getting their
sponsorship to him as soon as possible.
Speaking of sponsorship, a huge thanks to Sandy Scooters for their sponsorship
of both riders too!!
Remember, when you ride with them, you're riding with hero's!
Monthly
Ride
The Monthly Ride this June will be to The Crown at Northill.
It's a lovely village pub not far from the Shuttleworth Museum at Old
Warden. It's got a very bigbeer garden as well as a safe large area for
kids. There will be the normal Sunday morning meet at the Piazza in Bedford
at 11am, but we will leave Bedford at 12 midday to make sure we beat the
rush at the pub as it's quite popular.

Lambretta Open Day
Great day out, especially for ducks. Yes you guessed it, it was wetter
than a whore's gusset on a Saturday night. Other than that there were
some good stalls, discounts, food and a dyno! Pete Burgess even put his
trusty steed on but i forget what the reading was.

London Ride Out
A great time was had by all on Sunday 4th June on the London to Southend
Rideout with fantastic weather for it!! There was a moment though where
two coppers on bikes went ahead and tried to divert scooters and split
them, I'm pleased to hear that everyone ignored them and just rode round
them!
Peanut
Duck June 25th
For those going to Peanut Duck on Sunday 25th June, there will be a rideout
from the Piazza in Bedford leaving at 9.30am to go to Milton Keynes. All
are of course welcome.
Camber Sands Scooter Rally
Its coming up soon and there seems to be a lot of Pilgrims and others going so it looks like its gonna be a good 'un especially if the weather keeps up. Dates are Friday 30th June until the 2nd July.
For anyone scootering there on the Friday, several of us are talking about setting off early Friday, probably leaving Sandy about 10am. No firm plans yet so chat to Big Rob, the Quinceys and Donegal Paul, and watch the forum on the website.
The Pilgrims Summer BBQ
Don't forget that Sunday July 16th is the date for this years Pilgrims BBQ with music, a live band, food and beer and I'm still working on the naked dancing girls.
The weekend after is the NHS Collective's Summer do too, so that'll be two local do's in two weeks!! Wooohooooo!
