PROGRAMME UPDATE
It may be cold, wet and windy but the Pilgrims are still out ‘en force’. We have had another busy month with the ‘Do’ at the Crown which went very well, almost too well as it was packed! Unfortunately the local ride out was more like ‘washed’ out, although there was a turn out at the Square! And of course there was the rally last weekend, for those who can remember it!
We now have the Xmas party to look forward to on December 6th. Tickets are now available from Tom. As mentioned before, they are free but please ensure you can go before taking your tickets. Wendy is organizing a raffle in aid of Children In Need to be drawn on the night, so be prepared to put your hand in your pocket!
The Luton Lambretta Club are holding a Slalom Day this Sunday at The Crosskeys, Pulloxhill. This involves using their club scooter to navigate a slalom course, cameras a must! We will be leaving the Square for approx 12.30pm, weather permitting of course.
We have also been
asked to attend a Photo Shoot at The Piazza, this is in preparation for
the launch of the new look café. We will then be going on to a
pub for another photo. This will be on Sunday 23rd November, so please
attend if you can. See Donegal Paul for more details.
Lastly, Wendy has placed the last order now for club Polo Shirts, these should be ready in a week or so. As requested, there will a new design T-Shirt which should be ready for the new scootering season. More details to follow.
