An
update on the Pilgrims Xmas Party.
We can now confirm that this will be on Saturday 6th
December at the conservative club in Sandy. There is no
entry fee although a ticket will be required. As you know,
Rob has been selling CDs to raise the money for this and
so we want to ensure that Pilgrims members and their families
have the first opportunity to attend. We will be handing
out tickets very shortly to all those who want to come,
and any left over will be given out on a first come first
served basis nearer the time. There is going to be food
laid on free of charge and of course, the best music so
let Wendy know how many tickets you want reserved or email
wafurness@tiscali.co.uk. But please, if you reserve tickets make sure you can
go!!!!
This
Saturday is the Heritage Day at Leighton Linslade, where
we are displaying our scooters for the 60’s day. Good news
is that the weather is supposed to be good! For all those
who want to go, we are leaving the Piazza for 08.30am. We
have been mentioned in the local press so it would be nice
if we could have a good turn out. See Tom for more details.
We
have another ‘do’ arranged at The Crown in Flitwick, if
you didn’t make the last one make sure you go this time
as it is a good evening. Bill, Tom and Rob will be playing
again and I’m sure all the locals can’t wait!
We
want to put another club shirt order, see Wendy for details.
And
finally, Mick has a Jet 200 for sale, it requires restoration
but is apparently all there. And it will only set you back
£500, see Mick for details.
